- 1. Prerequisites
- Int’l Huawei Honor 3C – H30-U10 variant with Chinese KitKat ROM
- A USB cable and VCOM driver installed on PC (download here – size: 9.57 MB)
- Live TWRP custom recovery (download here– size: 8 MB)
- Honor 3C flashable KitKat modem patch (download here – size: 3.28 MB)
2. Procedure
- In order to flash the Modem patch, you need to have a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM first.
- Extract the downloaded “Live TWRP Honor3C.zip” on your PC.
- Copy the “dload” folder to the root directory of your phone’s SD card i.e. without placing it inside any folder.
- Also copy the “Fix IMEI Honor3C.zip”package to the dload directory.
- Next, Reboot your phone normally. You’ll automatically directed to TWRP recovery upon boot.
- Tap “Install” and then navigate to Sdcard → dload → Fix IMEI Honor3C.zip. Make sure“Zip file signature verification” is unchecked. Swipe to confirm.
- Once it gets completed navigate to Home → Advanced → File Manager → Sdcard → dload and delete the file named “au_temp.cfg”.
- Swipe to confirm the delete and finally reboot the phone in normal mode.
The no service issue should now be fixed. Wait for a few minutes before the phone searches for signals. If there’s still any problem feel free to comment about it below!
